This policy explains what information VisaJobs collects from employers who use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to employers.visajobs.ie only. The candidate site at visajobs.ie has its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

When you create an employer account and set up a company profile, we collect:

  • Your name and work email address
  • Your company name, website, and sector
  • Job postings you create, including title, description, and salary range
  • Applications received through the platform
  • Basic usage data, such as sign in times and pages visited

How we use permit data

VisaJobs cross references your company details against Ireland’s public employment permit register, published by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. We use this match to verify your sponsorship history and display a Verified badge on your listings. This register is public government data. We do not collect it from you; we look it up.

How we use your information

We use employer information to:

  • Create and secure your account
  • Verify your company against permit records or your work email domain
  • Display your job postings to candidates on the VisaJobs candidate site
  • Route applications from candidates back to you
  • Send account and product related emails, such as verification status changes

We do not sell employer or candidate data to third parties.

Sharing with candidates

Your company name, sponsorship history, and job postings are visible to candidates on the public candidate site. This is the core function of the product: candidates need to see who is genuinely sponsoring, and employers need candidates to find their roles.

Data retention

We keep your account and company data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we remove your job postings from the candidate site and retain minimal records only where needed for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from your dashboard settings. For anything the dashboard does not cover, contact us and we will action the request within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with GDPR.
